Eileen's Library is run by women, for women.
Our volunteers work with women's services and women-only spaces to create welcoming libraries of books by women. If you're a woman who would like to start a local chapter, we'd love to hear from you. Whether you care for one library or several, we'll support you every step of the way.
1. Collect
Help us source the essentials.
From books by women to bookshelves that become permanent homes for them, every donation helps us create a welcoming library in a women's space.

2. Curate
Help us prepare every library.
Volunteers sort, clean and organise donated books, creating carefully chosen collections that are welcoming, varied and relevant to the women who will use them.
Every library is thoughtfully curated so that every shelf offers comfort, inspiration and the opportunity to discover a new voice.
3. Grow
Become the local contact for Eileen's Library in your community.
Help introduce Eileen's Library to women's services, support host organisations, and keep each library thriving by replacing and rotating books when needed. Whether you look after one library or five, we'll provide the guidance and support you need every step of the way.
