A shelf is a library.
Every bookshelf donated becomes an Eileen's Library—a permanent collection of books by women, for women, in a women's service.
Whether it's a small two-shelf unit or a full-height bookcase, your donation creates a place where women's stories can be shared, discovered and enjoyed for years to come.
Donate a shelf
1. Tell us
Have a bookshelf to donate, or found one for us? Let us know. We use four simple sizes—S, M, L and XL—to help us match shelves with the right women's service. A photo is always helpful.
2. We'll find it a home
We'll match your shelf with a local Eileen's Library volunteer and a women's service ready to turn it into a library.
3. We'll make it a library
Our local volunteer will arrange collection or delivery, install the shelf and begin creating a new Eileen's Library.

Whether you have a handful of books or a whole collection, we'd love to hear from you. If you know someone else who would like to donate, let us know too.
2. We'll connect you to a local volunteer
We'll introduce you to your nearest Eileen's Library volunteer, who will organise the donation.
3. We'll find every book a home
Your local volunteer will arrange collection or delivery and carefully curate your books before placing them in the library where they're needed most.
