An Eileen's Library is more than a bookshelf. It is a permanent collection of books by women, for women, created to bring comfort, inspiration and connection to the women who use your service.
Whether your organisation supports women through refuge, recovery, housing, education or community, an Eileen's Library provides a welcoming space where every woman is free to discover a new story.
1. Register your interest
Tell us about your organisation and the women you support. We'll discuss the space you have available and the size of bookshelf that would best suit your community.
2. We'll create your library
Your local Eileen's Library volunteer will source a suitable bookshelf, carefully curate a collection of books written by women and install your library.
3. Launch your library
Your library is ready for its first readers.
Every Eileen's Library deserves a celebration. However you choose to mark the occasion—whether quietly or with a launch event—we'd love you to make it your own.
All we ask is that you share a photograph with us so we can celebrate with you and add your library to Eileen's growing legacy of books by women, for women.
